John 8:18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

                                                                     “BEARING WITNESS”

Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ:

Last week Jesus pressed me to take another direction in this series to fully explain one verse of Scripture
that the devil has perverted and used to deceive the majority of professing Christianity; it is very important
that we fully understand the “true meaning” of this Scripture, and why John spoke these words, because of
the strong deception that revolves around its use today! Therefore, today, we want to conclude our
discussion of “Bearing Witness” that we started in last week’s article before moving on with our discussion
of “The Goodly Babylonian Garment.”

Jesus wants to enlighten our understanding of John’s words: “For there are three that bear record in
heaven: The Father, The Word and The Holy Ghost; and these three are one!” 1 John 5:7 The next verse,
verse 8, states: “And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and The Water, and The Blood:
And these three agree in one!” Let us look at the likeness and the difference in these two Scriptures:

Please notice: Both statements are concerning “three (witnesses) bearing a record:” One record is in
heaven and one record is in earth! “Bearing record” is the same as “bearing witness” as we will see as we
go along. The “three that bear record in heaven” are “One;” and the “three that bear witness on earth” are
“as One!” Please understand there is a major difference between “being One and the same;” and “agreeing
in One,” or “as One!”  And this is where the devil perverted this Scripture to formulate the “trinity
godhead!” This is the devil’s perverted version of this Scripture: “There are three that bear record in
heaven: The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost: And these three are “three distinct and separate co-equal
persons that ‘“are of one essence!”’ (agree in one!”) The Nicene Creed (doctrine of the trinity) explicitly
spells out its meaning in a very detailed manner: “The Father is God, but not the Son nor the Holy Ghost;
the Son is God, but not the Father nor the Holy Ghost; the Holy Ghost is God, but not the Father nor the
Son!” The “trinity godhead” is explicitly emphasized as: “God in three persons!”

This doctrine of the “trinity godhead” became a “permanent marker” in the 4th Century, about 325 AD; but
the perversion began in the days of Jesus and the Apostles, when the “antichrist spirit” that had been
prophesied beforehand, began to work its very evil work! We will be giving you the Scriptures as we go
along in this series! For now, let us hear John: “They (anti-christs) went out from us that it might be made
manifest that ‘”they were not of us!”‘ Had they been of us, they would have remained with us!” Paul wrote
these words to those who were being seduced to leave the Apostles’ doctrines and join up with false
apostles with antichrist spirits: “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the
grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would
pervert the Gospel of Christ! But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you
than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed! As we said before, so say I now again: If
any Man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed!” Gal 1:6-9 Paul
went on to ask: “O Foolish Galations, who hath betwitched you that you should not obey the Truth before
whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?” Let us go back again to 1
John 5:7:

Please pay real close attention here to John‘s statement: “For there are three that bear record (witness) in
Heaven: The Father, The Word and The Holy Ghost: And these three are One!” Without perversion, nobody
would have any trouble understanding this Scripture: There is One who is bearing record (or bearing
witness) “in heaven” as “The Father, The Word and The Holy Ghost!” Or in more simple terms: “The Father,
The Word and The Holy Ghost are One and the Same Witness, bearing the record in heaven!” As Jesus will
tell us in a minute or two, Jesus, as “The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost,” is “the One” that is
establishing this record in heaven! On earth, “The Spirit, The Water and The Blood” is establishing the
same record on earth! Now the big question is: “What is the record that is being established on earth “as it
is in heaven?” God’s True Witnesses will give us the answer to that question:

In John 8: Jesus witnessed of himself, saying: “I am the Light of the World!” Immediately the religious
leaders rose up to say: “You are bearing witness of yourself; therefore your witness is not true!” Jesus
responded: “Though I “bear record” of myself, my witness is true…In your Law it is written: The witness of
two Men is true! I am One that beareth witness of myself; And my Father that sent me beareth witness of
me!” The Jews couldn’t see his Father around anywhere and asked, “Where is your Father?” Jesus told
them: “If you have seen me you have seen the Father: Ye neither know me nor my Father! If ye had known
me, ye should have known my Father also!” Jesus had told them: “I am in my Father and My Father is in me!”
Jesus and his Father shared the same House as the “Father and The Son!” Jesus witnessed of his Father,
saying “My Father has not left me alone: He that sent me is with me! My Father dwelleth within me, he doeth
the works!”

As you can see here, it is possible, where God is concerned, to have “two witnesses” out of “One Mouth!”
Right here, Jesus established the record of two witnesses in heaven: Jesus witnessed again many times as
we will show: Thereby establishing the record of The Father and The Son in heaven! “The Holy Ghost,”
Jesus told his Disciples, “will not witness of himself but of me!” When the Holy Ghost came on the day of
Pentecost: The third witness was established in Heaven: Therefore, Jesus Christ, “as The Father, The Word
made flesh (Son) and the Holy Ghost” has indeed established the Record in heaven: But what is the
Record? Please listen:

We may not be able to get into Jesus’ discussion with Peter until next week; however, Jesus gave Peter the
Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven and promised him: “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven!
Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven!” Therefore, Jesus was assuring Peter there would
be a record in heaven to back Peter up! And Folks, this is why John tells us the record is set in heaven,
already established by “One Mouth!” The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost did the witnessing out of
One Mouth: The Mouth of Jesus! We may not be able to get into detail in today’s discussion, but we will in
this series: it is possible to have “three witnesses” establish a Word, but the three witnesses came out of
“One Mouth!”

Paul wrote to one of the churches, reprimanding them on some issues: Paul reminded them: “This is the
